Help shape a
realistic work
scenario

Start with one task your junior analysts need to practise. Your feedback can shape a useful SOC and incident response learning experience.

One role.
One task.
Your input.

Start with one
work task.

Turn a learning need
into practical work.

What does a junior analyst need to understand, do and communicate?

Case 001 explains the planned workflow. A training pilot would begin with an agreed task, participants, constraints and review criteria.

  1. 01

    You bring the role context.

Describe one task, where people struggle and who can review their work. Leave out production data and personal details.

  2. 02

    We shape the exercise.

Agree a practical exercise and the scope of a supervised session. Define what evidence and feedback would make it useful.

  3. 03

    You assess the usefulness.

Review the learning evidence, participant feedback and delivery effort. Decide whether there is a concrete next step for your team.

Three questions for a first conversation.

Start with feedback. A training pilot is a possible next step if the task and scope fit.

If there is a useful fit, the next step would be to agree one role, a small participant group and a review process.

Exploring candidate assessment?

Work simulations may also help hiring conversations. That is a separate hypothesis, to be evaluated independently of the learning pilot.
